Jack emailed me weeks in advance to plan for his proposal to his girlfriend Lara. It had to be totally secret and at times it felt as if we were both bit players in a spy movie. The snowcat driver was in on the secret and he let me ride up front to act like I was an employee. Food and drink were served and I went off to hide under a pine in the snow with a long lens. It was absolutely gorgeous as Jack got on his knee. I always get goosebumps witnessing the beginning of a long life together.
